The Daffodils have begun to bloom in the Skagit Valley. 

On 2/25 I was in the area photographing eagles and looking for Short Eared Owls. On my way between birding sites, I drove past some of the few remaining flower fields. Much to my surprise, two fields of Daffodils were already in full bloom. Even though it was early in the season, there were already tourists wandering around and taking photos. 

I took a few shots before heading off for more bird photos. I hope to get back later in the season and do some more shooting.

There aren't as many flower fields in the Skagit Valley as there used to be, but there are still large fields of Daffodils, and soon tulips.
